The Mana College Board of Trustees plays a vital role in guiding the direction of our school. As our governing body, the Board works in partnership with the Principal, staff, students and whānau to ensure Mana College is a safe, inclusive and high-quality learning environment for every ākonga.
The Board’s work is grounded in our school values — Manaakitanga, Ako, Ngākau and Aspire — and reflects our commitment to strong community connections, student success and educational excellence.

The Board is responsible for the overall governance of Mana College, including:
- Setting the school’s strategic direction
- Monitoring student progress and achievement
- Ensuring high-quality teaching and learning
- Overseeing school finances, property and resourcing
- Reviewing and approving school policies
- Ensuring a safe, supportive learning environment
- Upholding legal and statutory responsibilities
- Representing the voice of whānau and the wider community
- Employing and supporting the Principal
