Kia ora whānau,

Whānau-Teacher Interviews are coming up this Thursday, starting at 1:20 PM.

To allow our kaimahi (staff) to prepare for these important conversations, the school will be closing early at 12:40 PM on this day. Please make arrangements for your rangatahi’s pick-up at this earlier time.

These interviews are a fantastic opportunity to connect directly with your young person’s teachers. It’s a chance to hear about their progress, celebrate their strengths, and discuss any areas where they might need a bit more support.

Get Ready for Your Interview

To help you make the most of your interview time, we recommend a little preparation:

  • Chat with your rangatahi: Ask them about their favourite subjects, what they find challenging, and if they have any questions for their teachers.

  • Jot down your questions: Think about anything you’d like to discuss, such as academic performance, how they’re getting along with others, classroom behaviour, their engagement, or any specific learning needs.
