Nominations are open for the election of one student representative to the school board.

Standing for election as the student representative on your school board might feel a bit daunting, but there’s plenty of help and support available to you.

As well as having a voice on how your school is governed, being a school board member will provide valuable knowledge and experience for your future – it will look great on your CV!

Nominations

You can nominate someone or nominate yourself. The form is attached and can also be found at the school office.

Candidate Statement

If you are a candidate, you are invited to submit an optional statement (up to 400 words) and photo. Make sure your statement is received by noon on 5th September so that it can be sent to voters with the voting papers.

The returning officer may remove or edit any part of the candidate’s statement if it exceeds 400 words or is offensive or defamatory.
