Benny’s Big German Adventure!

Check out what Benny Dawson has been up to on his exchange! Since touching down in Germany, he’s been based in the stunning city of Regensburg. He’s living right amongst history—the city features a Medieval centre with cobblestone streets, a massive cathedral, and a bridge over the Danube that’s nearly 1,000 years old!

His host family has been keeping him busy! He joined them for a beautiful Lutheran Christmas Eve service, and his host dad even took him on a casual 12-hour road trip to Austria to tour historic castles.

As if that wasn’t enough, Benny spent Christmas in Paris! He ticked off the big ones: eating escargot (yes, really!), heading up the Eiffel Tower, and ringing in the New Year on the Champs-Élysées by the Arc de Triomphe.

The “tough life” continues as he heads to Berlin for a week of sightseeing with his fellow Kiwi and Aussie exchange students.
