Property Manager

Mana College is a state co-educational school of approximately 500 students drawing from the areas of Western Porirua including Elsdon, Takapuwahia and Titahi Bay.  We take great pride in our buildings, grounds, gardens, and environment and have a range of projects on the go, including a Ministry extensive capital works and redevelopment of the entire school. 

 

The Property Manager is key to the ongoing growth and success of our college as we recognise the important role they play in leading our dedicated property team to deliver a well presented and maintained, safe and secure campus for all, as well as help develop and deliver property and facility projects that continually improve our college environment.

 

We are excited to offer this permanent, full-time (40 hours per week) opportunity and we are confident that we can offer the right person a diverse and rewarding role in a supportive and progressive environment. 

 

The job description outlines the role and requirements for the position, and we are looking for a start in late May / June 2021.

 

You may already have experience working in a similar role in an education setting, or you may have property, facilities and project management skills and experience and are looking for a change where you can really make a difference in this leading role.  You will be a self-starter, enjoy working around young people, be highly organised and be committed to own this role.  You will have excellent communication and relationship management skills, a focus on safety and security, and the ability to manage and stay on top of work at the detail level as well as contributing to the vision and future development of our college.

 

A full driver’s license is essential, and you will be required to undergo police vetting to be able to work in a school setting.

Lunch prep and service assistants
18-20 hrs per week.
Fixed term, School term time only.
$22.10 p/h

We are looking for lunch prep and service assistants to join our team.
Helping to produce daily healthy lunches to our hungry learners in Mana College as part
of the government’s Ka ora, Ka ako Free lunches in School initiative.


This role is busy but fun and rewarding. Blink and the day will be over!
We are looking for someone to help produce tasty, healthy lunches promptly and
efficiently!
● Preparing nutritious lunches for children under instruction
● Delivering food as instructed
● Uplifting leftover food and packaging as required for collection
● Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen
● Complying with the code of conduct and health and safety and food safety rules.


This is a fast paced but rewarding role that would be suited to someone with
experience of food handling and customer service. Full training will be given.
Because these roles are based in a School a Police check would need to be completed before
commencing work for successful applicants.
